El Burro

I always wondered why South American and especially Mexican food is so rare in Vienna but more and more restaurants and shops are opening to satisfy my cravings.
Besides Gorilla Kitchen and their amazing burittos, I enjoy going to the recently opened El Burro at Margaretenstraße 9 for some tacos.

The Mister and me are fond of their pork carnitas filling, which has a really nice flavour and beat the barbacoa beef by far.
We also tried out their burritos, but they are a bit less well-seasoned. Two tacos cost you 6,5€.

For dessert we each chose a popsicle. I had avocado and he went with sugar melon.
The taste was really nice and very affordable for only 1,5€ each.

We will be back for some more :)

  1. Thank you for sharing! I created a new blog last month called Real Life Natural Wife! I really enjoyed yours. Come check out my new post and leave me a comment with your thoughts!

  2. Happy Cinco de Mayo B! Looks like a cute little lunch, and the paletas are always a nice way to finish. Here in LA, those are sold in little carts during the summertime. :)

      1. It is already starting this Monday and the finals are this Saturday, so you sadly won’t be making it for this event! July is still a good time for a visit! :)
